I tend to like time-travel sci fi, so I will choose Back to the Future as my favorite of that sub-genre, with perhaps Star Trek IV as #2.

Loved the old sci fi movies from the 50's and 60's. Pressed to think of one since that i really liked. The Star Wars with Liam Neeson and Natalie Portman was decent.

Yes. Short book, long movie. BTW Arthur C. Clarke authored a book about the making of 2001. A good read.
