Would you buy an auction house "free shipping" pass?

Sort of like Amazon prime without the cheesy TV shows.
Maybe a hundred or two a year and all coins ship at no charge.

For an auction house - no.
For PCGS - maybe.

Depends on the price. For me $100 a year no.
Guess that would be the wild card. I just held back rebidding on a medium priced coin as I didn't want to get hit with a $20 shipping fee.
If I was buying enough out of auction to consider that, I would just attend the live sales and take the coins home with me.

That would certainly be a money saver.
I've considered launching something like this. Interested in opinions!

Pass on buyer's fee would be even better.
If, based on previous sales and current spending habits, I would expect to come out ahead by buying a year's worth of shipping for a fixed price, then I would buy it.

Thank you for joining the discussion, Ian.
I am thinking that $100 is the magic number. Would not work for everyone, but the frequent bidders would be more likely to remain frequent.
For some, it makes perfect sense as long as the shipping fees saved exceed the cost of, say Heritage PRIME?
For me, it wouldn't work.

@Coinstartled ...probably one of your better threads here no doubt, Nice Work! Gotta also love the response from @ianrussell as he always seems to come with homerun hits...no flys or grounders for him! Way Cool and with my businesses, Free Shipping is a must, and the payoff from the initial sacrifices to implement that was/is satisfactory on all accounts
