    The Rams were overrated and shouldn't have been there in the first place!

    Packers cut Matthews loose for several reasons. His best years were in the distant past. All of 3.5 sacks last year. Not even close to the impact player he was early in his career, and easily handled by a single blocker at this point. Wish him well, but Packers had no interest in keeping him at any price.

    The pardon is for tyrants. They like to declare pardons on holidays, such as the birthday of the dictator, or Christ, or the Revolution. Dictators should be encouraged to keep it up. And we should be encouraged to remember that the promiscuous dispensation of clemency is not a sign of political liberality. It is instead one of those valuable, identifying marks of tyranny.

    most likely retire as a ram in 2 years, just minutes away from were he was born and raised
