How many of us are inertial numismatists ?

The little cartoon in today's newspaper (Mar. 19) got me wondering if some of us collect certain things or approach problems in certain ways out of old-fashioned inertia. Should we encourage occasional re-evaluation of coin collecting, numismatic knowledge, and supporting processes, or has "inertia made cowards of us all?"

I can relate to the guy. I hate everything - at least at first.
Too early to tell check back in 5 to 10 yrs.
