How many of us are inertial numismatists ?

The little cartoon in today's newspaper (Mar. 19) got me wondering if some of us collect certain things or approach problems in certain ways out of old-fashioned inertia. Should we encourage occasional re-evaluation of coin collecting, numismatic knowledge, and supporting processes, or has "inertia made cowards of us all?"

When you hate everything, it’s really a trip when you find something you like.
Are you asking if we just keep doing the same thing out of habit, impatience for change?

How? Please, explain for the mentally challenged (ME) reading this thread. Thanks.
Are you trying to say that coin is actually an AU50?
