Feel free to post the oldest flip from your collection.

Browsing eBay, I came across this fine example of PSA nostalgia.

I searched my entire graded, Emmitt set and can't match the dusty goodness affiliated with this flip. The closest I can get is this 1992 Bowman example. Let's see yours

This is the lowest cert I have, but it doesn't have the long barcode like your first example. Maybe it was reholdered somewhere along the way, but that was before I purchased it on 8/8/2017.

Reminds me of the old fonts from tractor feed printing paper used in the early 90s. Kind of makes me want to go down to the local tire store and buy some new tires haha

That was slabbed about 6 months after it was pulled from the pack in
1934!

I got it from Mike Baker at the '92 National - PSA was a youngster back then.

Nice Mitchell! The other Cleveland rb. Not many people realize he's in the hof. He had less than 8000 rushing yards for his career and only 18 rushing TDS. He was amazing in the passing game which is what probably put him in.

Absolutely agree, that is a beautiful card. Mr. Mitchell is definitely a fan favorite amongst us die hard Skins fans. The reason for his low rushing yard total is when he came to DC he switched positions to flanker (slot receiver).

Redskins did this with HOF'r Charley Taylor too. Both had great success as rb's but went onto HOF careers catching the ball.

The Skins owner at the time was a racist and the last team in integrate. Under pressure from the NFL in 62 the Skins had the 1st pick of the draft and picked Ernie Davis, Heisman winner from Syracuse but before the draft,the front office had a secret trade already worked out sending Davis to the Browns for Mitchell, making Mitchell the first black player to play in DC.

Davis died of Leukemia without ever playing a down in the NFL while Mitchell went onto to the HOF and continued to work for the Redskins as an executive after he was done playing from 69 til 2002.
