ROUND 2 Numismatic March Madness GIVEAWAY and Tournament!
If you did not see my last thread, I am hosting a numismatic March Madness tournament!
The rules are simple. From now until April 8, on the dates listed below, voting will take place. In each round, you choose which coin should win! It doesn't matter why you chose that coin - maybe you like the design, maybe it has a cool name, or maybe you just hate the other coin. Whatever coin receives the most votes proceeds to the next round until we reach the championship on April 8! See the post here:

In the last round, two massively popular coins battled it out: the Morgan Dollar and the Walking Liberty Half dollar. It was a tremendously close race, but in the end the Walking Liberty Half Dollar advanced by just ONE vote! Sorry to all the Morgan fans and those who chose it as the finalist in your giveaway entry. Voting is now closed on that post.
So, here is the updated bracket:
This round, we have another two very popular coins: Longacre's Indian Head Cent vs. Saint-Gaudens' Double Eagle. Whichever wins shall advance to compete against the Walking Liberty Half Dollar in Round 9!
Round 3 will be posted tomorrow afternoon, so make sure to get your votes in for this round!

There was a problem with this thread and it got shoved down, so I am commenting to get it back on top. Which do you think will win?

I love Indian Cents, but I picked the $20 St. Gaudens to win the tournament
Michael Kittle Rare Coins --- 1908-S Indian Head Cent Grading Set --- No. 1 1909 Mint Set --- Kittlecoins on Facebook --- Long Beach Table 448
indian (just to be different)
Picked Indian as well. Not sure why really
Love the Indian for some reason
Successful transactions with : MICHAELDIXON, Manorcourtman, Bochiman, bolivarshagnasty, AUandAG, onlyroosies, chumley, Weiss, jdimmick, BAJJERFAN, gene1978, TJM965, Smittys, GRANDAM, JTHawaii, mainejoe, softparade, derryb
Bad transactions with : nobody to date
The cenny, I mean pent. It has a much more beautiful design.
My dirty unpopular secret, I think the St G is one of, if not THE ugliest obverse designs out there. Even Susan B Anthony has a better obverse, also the Ike’s. Yup I said it.

The Saint-Gaudens double eagle has taken a commanding lead, but there is still a chance for the cent to win back ground!

I do like the design of the Saint-Gaudens, but the Indian Head just resonates more with my past and with my feasibility to collect them.
My strategy is about collecting what I intend to keep, not investing in what I plan to sell.
I prefer the IHC but I think the $20 wins thus round.
