Wexlers

Hello all. I am a new collector and have a question about Wexlers coin grading. I found an anomaly on a recently dated Lincoln Cent that as far as I have found, has not been discovered yet. Similar to the 92D close. Problem is, there is no catagory for such at Wexlers. Only their UFO catagory. I would appreciate input as to where I should send this coin for grading. Thanks in advance.

You can contact me via e-mail at jwex@comcast.net or by regular mail by writing to: John A. Wexler, P.O. Box 544, Quakertown, PA 18951-0544. I hope you enjoy searching for and collecting die varieties as much as I do

  • How was the 92D close documented? Who discovered it? Where was it initially sent?

Discovered Coins are sent to Wexler or Wiles for review. They then determine if it IS a discovery, Variety, or both.
