Crazy Topps Heritage Hit!

JimMeantJimMeant Posts: 342 ✭✭✭

I’m not really a big modern collector but I was fortunate enough to hit this last night!

Anybody have a ballpark idea on value for this 1/1?

I can’t stand the Yanks, but that is a sweet card. I don’t think there is a way to guess value, as a 1/1 with some pretty collectible players. Just put it up on eBay (maybe with a reserve that you would part with it) and best of luck. Congrats!

Is that a gouge on the edge to the left of Jeter?

    Nice pull.

Very cool! If you want a return on it you need to post it on eBay ASAP. No matter how cool it’ll flatten out on price soon.

There are a few /25 versions of the card on EBAY that I have been watching since I am a Donnie fan. They are trying to sell in the $140-150 range, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet. No completed sales that I know of.

Congrats!! A 1/1 is insane and difficult to predict, but worth a lot for sure!!

the card looks damaged on the bottom left. It's on both side of the card and looks like some kind of water damage. What a shame!

Congrats on the monster pull. But was that damage there when you pulled it? I would be a little upset with Topps quality control if that was released in that condition, especially being a one of one. Also, the stain on the back too. Still it is a great card.

    Congratulations Jim!

    Have no idea on value.

It almost looks like a glue stain on front? If so? Consider calling Topps customer service and "real time" email the card to them for consideration? They'll either say "it is what it is?" or send it in for replacement?

1/1 to a Yanks fan? Priceless!

Topps spent all that time making that card, and then handwrote the "1/1"? I would assume that the 1/1 should be stamped in gold or silver on the back. Anyway, great looking card and a cool idea.

That’s how all numbered Heritage autos and relics come. Only chrome/refractors are stamped.

Always looking for tougher PSA 10's of Nolan Arenado, Alex Bregman, Mookie Betts, Francisco Lindor, and Mike Trout.

being written I would be on the lookout for forgeries to follow. Not sure if Topps will replace a card
