Total weight of each commemorative $5 gold coin is 8.359 grams.
(This can be confirmed by numerous reputable sources.)
Each coin is 90% gold (same standard as early 20th century circulating $5 gold coins).
So net gold in each coin is 7.523 grams.
One troy ounce is 31.10348 grams.
So each coin contains 0.24187 troy ounce of gold.
The four coins combined contain (0.24187 x 4) ounces of gold, or 0.96748 ounces of gold.
At $1298 spot, total melt value of the four coins is $1255.78 .
