Black nickel. Is it Improperly annealed or environmental damaged. Looks like it has a luster.

Corroded
I’m still learning. So I’m assuming that the rim still looking nickel throws it off. Even the rim supposed to be black. I did clean it with some baking soda. To see if it would clean up some. But being on the ground for so long. Corroded it. Not a keeper. Just a spender. Roll on.
Soak it in some white vinegar (acetic acid) for an experiment.
