1959 Baltimore Colts Signed football

I just acquired what appears to be (based on comparing signatures with the 1959 roster) a 1959 signed Baltimore Colts football. While the signatures look pretty good the ball itself has no air and is hard as a rock. Suggestions? Signatures include Johnny Unitas, Raymond Berry, John Sample, Jim Parker, Weeb Ewbank, Art Donovan, and the rest of the players and coaches from the 1959 Colts.

    A photo would be nice.

Does it look anything like this one?

Seems like we get hit 4 or 5 times a month with a new user account asking about something that is signed and I get the same vibe off each posting like it is the same person yet a new account each time and the items are always "off" or seem odd. Am I losing my mind or has anyone else noticed this too?

  • Just posted photo...I am new here, and just wanted a little advice.

    Hiya Ann

Here's the photo you sent me.

I'm not a signed FB collector but if I had to take a stab at it?

This looks like a "stamped" sig ball rather than personally signed.

  • I know that is a possibility, but I haven't been able to find an example of a similar ball from 1958 or 1959.

  • You are correct...found it! Life goes on. Seems it is still worth about what I have in it.
