Off-Center Obverse FRN Help Please...

LeeBoneLeeBone Posts: 4,466 ✭✭✭✭✭

Note: This is not mine, I'm simply posting for a cousin of mine who found this after her husband passed a week ago.

I am strictly a coin guy and have no idea about this bill. As you can see the Obverse is slightly shifted. The Reverse is normal.
How rare is this and what is something roughly(ballpark) valued at?

Thanks for any and all help :)

Nice misaligned overprint error, albeit right between minor and moderate. The note appears to be in maybe VF condition. I would expect to pay somewhere between $75 and $125. The note might sell for double this if in CH-CU condition.

Only the second printing is off and nobody caught it during successive printing passes.
    Impressive!

Actually, the back is printed first.
