Sold at auction: $5 SC 1934A F-A block Mule for $29

That is a deal, but I must ask (estimate was $75-$125)
Are small size really this weak in pricing, have all the collectors filled this spot in their collection?

    Looks about right. Not a very attractive note. It’s closer to a Fine than a Very Fine.
    Maybe you’re thinking about the H-A Block.

    I don't know why there isn't more interest in these original issue type notes and they are becoming less common all the time.

    The estimate was $75-$125 and while they're typically optimistic, I think $29 indicates a real lag in buyer's

    Bid was actually $10, but fees were almost twice that.

    I love these detailed varieties, so I'm probably in left field when I see them passed over by bidders
