What grade do you think this card would recieve? 56T Killabrew WB
Im working on the 1956 super set. 100-180 white backs are notoriously tough in high grades. Especially 164 Harmon Killabrew. This card as a 5 can go for over $500 and as 6 over $1600.
Pop report has only 1 graded at a 7 and just a few 6's. Never the less its a tough card to get. I saw this one and am considering it knowing itll get a lower grade but was wondering what others thought it get.
The picture kinda sucks but im not the photographer. On the face there looks like a small wrinkle just to the right of his head running horizontal but it also migh just be the bad picture. Also to the left of his head there looks like a small scratch in the gray area.
Well tell me what you think. Thanks in advance.

I'm no expert on the oldies by any means, but still fun to throw out an opinion...due to the centering and the rough corners, I'd guess 3 or 4?
Pretty sure that’s a wrinkle near the top of card near his hat. That combined w the centering and corner issues makes it a 2 IMHO.
Looks like a candidate for a PSA 3 on a good day and very likely a PSA 2.
I would guess PSA 3
2-3

I was thinking a 3 at best myself but that possible wrinkle bothers me. The money the guy wants would be fine if it came back as a 3 but imo alittle steep for a 2.

my immediate reaction is a 3
That wrinkle looking spot could drop it to a 2. No crease would probably yield a 4

I sent the seller a message asking about the blemish on the left side of his head and the possible crease to the right. This was their response.
"Vertical surface crease - hard to see doesn't go all the way thru to other side . Didn't notice any blemish . Thanks."
Knowing that is a definitively a crease i dont think i can pull the trigger for $100. Couple that with $20 grading fee im all in at $120 plus 3 seperate shipping fees (him to me and back and forth to PSA) its a losing venture when you consider a PSA 2 sold on Ebay for $60 last month.

Seems like this card can go in a bulk sub, so $8-10 for grading.
Thanks for all the advice. I sent the seller a msg saying i believe that the card would grade at a 2 with screenshot of what the psa 2 went for. He sent be an offer for cutting the price more than half the asking price of $99.99. I figured it was fair so i went a head and purchased it.
Ive just completed the 56 basic set last month with most of the cards still out for grading. This will get me closer to completing the 56 super which im still 132 cards short of. I look to upgrades grades like this once ive completed the entire set.

The Killer white back popped but not in hand till Wednesday. Indeed as the majority said it was a PSA 3. I'll most a pic when I receive it.

Card in is hand! Its definitely not a 4 and I'm probably a bit bias since I'm the owner but its a good looking card for the grade.
