Just saw that the 2000 playoff championship ticket brady sold for $400k. that is the highest price paid for a football card, no?
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

This and the MJ sale will help bring people to the hobby. Glad to see these getting some run.
It is reported that it was the highest "auction" price ever paid for a football card.

Wasn’t this a 10k card a couple years ago?
It’s hard to believe it would jump 390k in two years.
A non-rookie, modern, non-auto golf card is at $20K right now and the bidding isn't over, the market is red hot for scarce, premium items.
Was very evident early on that this card was going to break the previous record of 250k, but 400k+ really exceeded my expectations. I guess taking this into consideration, the previous 250k wasn't such a bad deal.
There was Jordan insert that recently went for an extremely high price as well (#/10)
At $20k it was already way beyond my initial prediction, finishing at $64k, I have no words ...

WOW
I would have never guessed that card could bring that. Tiger is back!
Over 8500 graded, pop 2 in a dime. Who knew?
Obviously a great condition rarity. Just would have never guessed it would bring that. His SI card has perked up so I have to think this sale is stronger due to his resurgence because the public always loves a comeback story and Tiger was once beloved.
Marquee items don't go cheap.
Trend slightly, my friends.

What was the grade on the Brady card?
BGS 9, it even got a mention on The Dan Patrick Show this morning.
I think high grade football cards are undervalued.
Great investment in my opinion.
I would love to have enough money to just buy whatever cards I wanted and didn't have to worry about being over bid.
Wow, not even the gold foil version
Also, why such extreme disparity here: a BGS 9.5 Gem Mint sells for $1,750 last month, and then a PSA 10 goes for $64K this month? Sure, the grades are not 100% equal in popular opinion, but the sales prices should not be this far apart.

there are zero TW gold foil 10s
out of 12,026 total cards graded in the set, there are 11 dimes
only 3% are 9s
it's a modern day 71T baseball with a bigger perimeter
you'll never be able to outrun a bad diet
