For sale is a choice original 1848 half eagle from my collection. I tried my best to capture the coin's in-hand eye appeal, but the photos don't do it justice. I've attached multiple photos to give you an idea of how the coin looks under various types of lighting at different angles, etc. There are a couple minor rim ticks on the obverse near 12 and 1 o'clock, which you can see in the photos. There's a cool die crack that runs through the bottom of Liberty's bun to the top of the 8. Please feel free to PM me with any questions. Preferred method of payment is via check.
