He is a really good player. Hard to know how to factor in the altitude to the offensive numbers but his home and away numbers have a pretty big gap (whose doesn't in Colorado). If Colorado can justify paying someone 260M, this is the guy.

I didn't know his #'s were diff home vs away

That was the big argument keeping Larry walker out of the HOF

I wish I could have a job where I could still get a free paid day off when I felt like I “Need a day off”

His numbers aren't terrible away from home, and most players have higher numbers at home anyway. Probably the best defensive 3B in the game today. Whether or not you like it, this is the type of money that younger stars at the top of their game command today!

Well, to put it in perspective, Sean Hannity is making more money. It's good to be in the entertainment biz!

Great fielder, I think all are overpaid, but compared with Machado & Harper contracts, it’s in the same ballpark.

I remember when Drysdale agreed to $110,000 and Koufax got $125,000.

That year a new Mustang was $2,400.

I remember when these guys all had real jobs in the offseason. Didn't make enough just playing baseball.
