    I like how it is the Topps Industry Conference and yet the presentation cuts off half the Topps name. A few more clicks would have fixed that.

    The sports card hobby is relatively small. How many coin, comic or fine art collectors do you know?

    It only takes a few million people to keep the ball rolling and demand is there.
    This board used to be very active but if you want a sense of numbers check out the blowout forum. There is enough interest to keep companies like Topps in business.

    And a big YES to Pokémon or Magic the gathering cards becoming high value. It’s all relative and there will always be a collecting “fever” that keeps sports cards relevant.

    I really wonder how they determine who is an existing collector. Are they rallying registry sets and camping out at target stores to see who hits the shelves. Just curious...

    Team devotion. I am a Cardinals team set collector. I have always wondered why there are not more team set collectors. I really enjoy collecting cards in this way. It allows me to be focused.
