Anyone know Tom Allen?

Does anyone know Tom Allen that has the #36 spot on the current Kennedy proof set? An email address or something? Thanks!

His set is probably the best #36 ranked set in any registry.

35 coins, 34 are finest knowns

only 16 coins short of finishing.

Oh and I do NOT know him

Don't know him, but man does he have a nice set. All but one with a "0" under pop higher.

While I do not know Mr Allen personally, I do know his wonderful collection , from which I recently purchased many beautiful coins. Clearly, If Mr Allen had wished to be in 1st place, he could have done so, with the purchase of a few very commen PR-69 DC late dates. Rick Tomaska of R&I Coins is handling the sale of the collection. One can never really know why a collector choses not to continue with a winning collection. All I know is that in the case of my Jay Ross Pr Quarter set 1936 -1964, I do not like the early Washington Quarters . In lacking any cameo contrast , they did not appeal to me and I ended my collection which will soon be sold by R&I. Bear
