    Jfoot, Very nice 1893 btw.
is yours a 3x punched? does not look like it. Maybe my old eyes need new glasses.
The real experts to ask are BOSOX and SYL, bot members here. perhaps **Gene **also might know.
I have checked all my 1893 which are better than MS60 and found NO 3x 9's.
the Charlton 1 cent varieties issue on page 336 does indicate that triple punched 1893 do exist. If your is one, it is at a price range way out in the stratosphere. Actually the same if it is double punched "only".
Must find myself one like that.

Not the triple punched. A few 1893 reverse dies had the 9 re-punched. Interesting, but no significant premium for the latter.

Nor is it one of the varieties shown in the 2011 Charlton variety section. Note: not all varieties are shown there, way too many to list. I defer to Bosox and Syl to explain further.

I have one with that RP but only EF grade. Nice coin.
