Question about turn around time

We have three members at our coin club tonight expressing their concern about how long it is taking to get their currency graded and back from PCGS.

Is there anything I can report to the membership?

I am not a currency collector save a few bills, but does this comment mean the 3 from my club are not the only ones experiencing a delay? Anything I can report back to my friends to help explain the delays, like grading department moving to a new location, retooling, or union strike?
