Back in the day they were great. My fav was the Y2K commercial. Charlie Steiner was the best

I stopped watching Sportscenter before any of that so I don’t have any reference but let’s not make this thread political

Out of respect for Mark I will not get into my real reasons for not supporting ESPN, that being said I actually stopped watching once I got a computer, the internet is my go to for everything sports related now. Instant scores, stats, highlights and anything else you need. I do miss the 90’s when I used to religiously watch Baseball Tonight, and Sportscenter though

    1) “Wally, it’s not what you think!”
    2) “He said today’s specials are ‘pickled herring and blodkorv’”
    3) “Who is that guy?” “I don’t know... he seems to like the chicken though.”

Golich and Golich Jr, both on the radio are pretty good. Amy Lawrence is great, late nite. Not sure if she is ESPN.

I don't pay attention between the breaks when I watch games except for the halftime stats.

Lots of them on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VlbnVzDTk_Q

Couldn't find my favorite - Chris Berman at Bristol U. - "No such thing as a stupid question. Just stupid people who ask questions."

The pardon is for tyrants. They like to declare pardons on holidays, such as the birthday of the dictator, or Christ, or the Revolution. Dictators should be encouraged to keep it up. And we should be encouraged to remember that the promiscuous dispensation of clemency is not a sign of political liberality. It is instead one of those valuable, identifying marks of tyranny.
    Charles Krauthammer

    That was a good one.

I started watching and got to the third with Josh Hamilton. I ask this seriously.... I wonder if he thinks about this commercial in connection with thinking about the ball he under threw to a fan causing the fan to lean too far over to catch it and die? ( I say it like that because I believe that is how he probably sees the incident).
