A couple of Cook Islands notes I picked up last year. They both sport my favorite serial number.
Beautiful notes mbwizkid
I think these 2 consecutive serial number Indian 1 rupees are lovely.
Seems like it should be an active and fun thread. So, I am happy to share one of mine. Not the best example, but still...
I was happy to add it to the collection. Still need the $5 note.
Lovely artwork on your note JoeCorrado
Added another UK £1 note, to my collection

A friend emailed me letting me know a serial #12 1972 1£ Isle of Man Government note was available so I snatched it up.
Very nice note. I really like the diversity and design of world notes. The colors are really special.

Remarkably colorful notes. Are either one of them polymer?
No, neither are polymer.
!!!
/\ What he said! Truly remarkable colors. /\
Not exactly recent, but I just got a chance to scan...
Picked this one up Thursday night from the Anderson Collection auctioned by Stacks - turns out it's also the plate note used to illustrate a $10 Date Back in Whitman's Encyclopedia of U. S. Paper Money.

Got this note the other day, Serbia.
Nothing fancy. So recent that I haven't even recieved it yet.
And this one also not in my hands yet. Can't get more recent than that.
I like
I got this recently from a friend on a different PM forum.
It features Viola Desmond, a famous Canadian black activist. It is Canada’s first vertically oriented bank note. The note is polymer and contains many security features along with raised bumps to help the visually challenged.
Some beautiful designs being posted by everyone.
Added another £1 note to my collection. The small G on the reverse indicates that the note was printed on the Goebel Press.
Also one from France 1793
Here's a somewhat scarce Cold War-era Soviet note. Low survival as most were redeemed in the 1961 currency reform and exchanged for the small sized rubles that circulated up until the collapse of the USSR. This is the first type that was printed between 1947 and 1957. During those years there was a 16th Soviet republic (Karelo-Finnish) and therefore there are 16 scrolls on the seal as well as "Ten Rubles" written in Finnish.
Love that Russian note KSorbo.
I picked up 3 commemorative notes recently, from Pakistan & Scotland.
Picked up this cool curiosity recently.
Picked these up yesterday !!!
A 1940 WWII emergency issue £1, a 1967 English 10 shilling & a 1970s/80s Channel Islands £1
Picked these up recently, great embossing. Sent 15 off for a grade, see what happens.
Can you believe it’s been 37 years since the last $10 Minneapolis replacement note was printed (October 1982) ?! And, it’s been almost 14 years since ANY $10 replacement note was printed in Washington DC. It’s been a long time coming.
A new note to the #45 collection.
upgrades or quality additions
to my Galion & Crestline OH
collections.
Not my newest but since it's #45 I thought this was a good place to show it off.
I LOVE polys ...
My Dad sent these home during WWII. Most of the countries he was in. He typed across the top when he was there.

This month purchase and also stuff that I got back from pmg
2009 A $100 bill SN LH 00000003 A.

Last summer PMG announced an exclusive Cabral autographed holder would be available soon. That got me thinking about submitting a Cabral autographed note to put into the Cabral autographed holder. I asked about the possibility and was told that only bulk submissions by authorized dealers would qualify.
Challenge Accepted. I contacted a friend with considerable influence at PMG and asked for help. It took longer than I expected and numerous hoops were jumped through resulting in exactly what I had in mind. I now own a Cabral courtesy autographed note in a Cabral autographed holder.
