Why Does PSA Stop Grading Certain Sets?

I have seen some sets labeled as “no longer grading “. What would cause PSA to no longer grade a set? Example: 1989 Franklin Caramels

Gotcha... wasn’t sure if there were actual reasons why or if they are all shrouded in mystery. Guess it is the latter.

I spent months trying to get a straight answer on a set they quit grading after literally grading my cards from it a day or two before and never got one. Hopefully, you have better luck if you attempt to pursue it.
