Apparently there is a way to text a link to an item or post on social media and if the link is used, the buyers fee is not charged. I do not do social media, but wanted to test this out via text. If anyone sees anything on my page, I will offer it minus the 10% fee ebay charges to learn if this is a thing. PM your phone number and I will text you the link. Also if anyone has used this feature let me know how it works.

looks like this feature may not be via text message, but through email. So if anyone is interested, I believe I would need an email address
