The group of people who purchased this game included Heritage Auctions co-chairman Jim Halperin.

Heritage Auctions has long had a conflict of interest with their consignments by letting employees as well as consignors themselves bid on their auctions (it's part of their auction rules).

Still an amazing piece to have survived, but wondering if the price is legitimately based on market demand, or if Heritage artificially inflated the price.

I've been in the vintage game market for many years. Sealed game collectors are a unique breed. They will absolutely pay top dollar. This was a rare sticker seal game. Def harder to come by. But 100k does seem like a lot.
