Have you ever heard of EGS?
Did EGS show up in a google search?
Have you ever seen any other card age or wear like that?
Is this the most faked card out there? (I'm not sure but would bet it is)

I wouldnt give you a $1 for it

Reminds me of a local hobby shop owner who pulled out a raw T206 Eddie Plank from his safe and told me grading companies don’t know what they are doing because his authentic plank wouldn’t make the grade.

You could do the same and play pretend it’s real. Enjoy the piece for what it is.

I definitely prefer the OP’s card better. Better eye appeal. Would most certainly get a PQ stamp if it were brokered by PWCC.

Are people really this desperate to own that card? Amazes me with all the counterfeit efforts out there.

Straight out of the printer and into the ole' bicycle spokes for a bit, then maybe a dose of coffee grounds and double check that the corners are rounded just right, print out a BS TPG company flip and good to go!

Real 52 Mantles do get listed cheap on eBay. In my 10 years on eBay I’ve found only two.

They are NEVER listed as unknown or in a bs basement slab. They also never have a story about being found in a attack. That’s for suckers.

It’s usually people who inherit a collection and don’t do the research.

No t206 wags tho... still waiting on that one 😉
