What is this?

A client found this in the ocean in nova scoctia and I have no idea what it might be. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

    Possibly a piece of metal from a very old shipwreck. Not a coin.

    If it is numismatic, it could be something extremely worn down and from ancient or medieval India, but it may not be numismatic. Possibly too large.

    Yes, it could be part of the Holy Grail. How far was it found from Oak Island?

    Maybe start with looking up shipwrecks in the area it was found
