Anyone know if 25 francs was the equivalent to dollars in 1942. Interesting that the rev displays 14 December 1942. Independence day there or just a major battle? Peace Roy

That was issued by the Free French after the Axis was removed from Africa. I don't know what the exchange rate would have been; it would have been tied to the French franc, if anything.
