+/- is an awful metric on which to judge players. The game has changed so much that the numbers are nowhere close to what they used to be. Brad McCrimmon had a +86 one year - double Lidstrom's best. Do you really think he was better? Of course not.
As for Lidstrom vs Robinson, Nick had nearly 200 more points despite playing in a significantly lower scoring era. Larry was a great player but Nick was better.
Again, more great stuff from Forsberg. Funny to hear him ripping on dirty play from other guys since he was known to be pretty dirty himself. It was his cheap punch on Igor Larionov that kicked off the famous brawl where McCarty jumped on Claude Lemieux.
