How to submit gold framed cards?

I recently picked up this sweet Transcendent Juan Soto auto and I'd like to send it in to get it graded. The card is very thick, like a patch card, and would not fit nicely into a CS1. With the gold frame I'm concerned about any kind of scratching or scuffing lowering the grade. Has anyone else submitted a gold frame before (Gold Label, Transcendent, etc.)? How did you do it?

Thanks

Arthur

How was it packed when it was shipped to you? Did it protect the card well? Protection of its condition when shipping to PSA is more important than using a CS1, no question. I have occasionally subbed super thick cards (that otherwise would have had their corners crushed in a CS1) in thick top loader within poly team bag and put that card among an order with everything else in CS1, and I've never had any issues with PSA rejecting due to the packaging. Or, you could send it in a CS-IV.

It came in a sort of jumbo penny sleeve that fit it nicely and then in a thick top loader and then a team bag. It was nicely protected. I guess I'm just curious how hardcore PSA is about the whole Card Saver thing?

That's good to know that you didn't have a problem circumventing it before though, thanks.
