Nice job on the grade estimates and here are the actuals.
I was pretty happy with the results. I knew the Rice was kind of beat up but it was given to me by a friend and I wanted it in plastic. He also gave me a beat up Steve Young that I didn't have a picture for and it got a 5 and a nice 88 Bo Jackson football that received a 9. I thought the Kessinger and Santo were at least 7 each but I didn't expect to receive a 9 for the Hull A.S. or the 65 Brodie. I was expecting 8's for those two. I bought the 63 Brodie raw from Dean's cards some months ago for about $50. His web site rated the raw card a 7. I thought it looked pretty darn nice for a 7. I was hoping for an 8 on the Mackey but it just wasn't in the cards, no pun intended.
wow...pretty much everyone on here had the 65 and 69 Brodie cards as being 6's or lower, and you got an 9 and a 8...congrats to you, but it seems the grader was asleep at the wheel with the nicks in the borders, the marks on the surface of the 69 (on his pants and to the left of his pants)....very odd that 10 of us can be in decent agreement, but yet we are all wrong (I guess)....thanks for sharing your results...
Congrats on the grades. It seems when these come out as a rule the board members are tougher than PSA. I think we tend to find the flaws in the cards that are not ours and overlook them on the ones in our collection. Great group of cards!!

Thank you. Strange that not one person would give me a 9 on anything and that Hull A.S. is gorgeous imo. At least you gave me an 8.5 on that one.
A couple of us thought the first Brodie was a 9. Nice group of cards.
Nice job
Seems like idferg and I think alike.
Yes I screwed up on the 67 hull as saying it was a 69..I know better but I had written the numbers first and tried to remember year.
I still say the 65 Brodie doesn't have 9 qualities but congrats none the less.
I will say the 67 Hull is magnificent. I was an itch away from giving it an 8.5
Thank you it was fun.....to see the opinions of others who probably are very experienced.

Thud.
Wha.. what......where am I? What happened?
Oh, so, YOU'RE the guy.
Seriously, nice grades. On the Dean's Cards purchase, would $50 be a normal price for that card raw, or graded for that matter, for that card in that condition?
I guessed the 65 Brodie would be a 6 due to the nicked right edge at the player's elbow. It's right in the area where someone's thumb would be when looking at the card. If one didn't "look under" their thumb, that nick would be easily missed.
I guessed the 69 Brodie would be a 6 due to the black smudge in the name and the PD or ST near the players right thigh. It's hard to tell which it is looking at a scan and not being able to rotate the card in hand and under a light source.
These are beautiful cards regardless of the technical grades.
you must b the first guy ever to get a good deal from deans cards lol
