Bird/Magic Rookie - grading dillema, advice?

I am a bit of a novice with grading and how to decide between grading companies

I went to a local show last year and got this Bird/Magic rookie graded on site at BVG 8.

I then submitted to PSA crossover and requested minimum 8 - no luck. Came back ungraded.

What to do now... was thinking of submitting for permenant BVG grade/holder. Or do I take a chance and re-submit the card as raw in hopes I get that 8 I was hoping for?

Am probably going to sell to help fund my baseball HOF collection... or available for trade if anyone is interested!

Thx all

Jeff

PSA slabs get higher prices but the reason for that is because they're tougher on grades. Beckett doesn't guarantee their RCR grades or even that the card will come back with a grade (they've rejected RCRs for trimming before) so whatever you do you're going to want to get it into an actual slab in order to maximize your money.

If it were me I'd send it to PSA and take whatever grade they gave me.

It looks close to an 8 (maybe a 7 or 7.5). This card is a classic, 2 Rookies that saved the NBA plus a great HOFer in Dr. J. It looks nice, I believe it will continue to do well in the future.

if you send it to psa and get a 6 or something your not happy with don’t give up... I submitted that card once 3 times before I got the grade I was happy with
