I like to imagine what the employees of the Mint thought when they were placing these coins in their GSA holders. "Oh, here's another stunningly beautiful coin!"

Looking at too many of your coins (or their images) could easily cause someone to get a badly distorted view and lose perspective of what most Morgan Dollars look like.

Fade to black, I’m like you and wonder about the star and how they decide. As the owner , I think they all have EYE appeal
You know for a fact they have all been in since NGC started doing stars? That last one screams for one.
The majority of these coins I bought raw and submitted myself. I’ve owned some of these twenty years or more. I’m lucky to find one or two a year that fits what I’m looking for. High grade and eye appeal. I probably buy one of every two hundred I look at.
1 of the 81-CC’s, but not my favorite toned GSA. I’ll post that one in a separate thread later on. I’m sure others will have a different opinion than mine, but that’s what makes toned coins so interesting

Each one is nice. The first and third are my favorites.

These are awesome! I can’t believe the last one doesn’t have a *. Who owns all of these coins?
Thanks, these are all part of my GSA collection

Im pretty sure they have been putting stars on coins longer than that

Yeah, they go back to 2003, I think.
NGC started using the star designation in 2001
