My Lakesammman/Dan Carr Beaver collection

I tried to get this coin in 2008 but lost and didn’t find another until 2017!
I did find out Lakesammman had the original dies and have been collecting the ones he made with Dan Carr moon light mint and this is my collection
Now on his last trip they did the mules and a very nice post. I was able to get my hands on one and found it a partner

I've never seen these before. Very nice.
It's been fun exchanging PM's with Jabba - he has a real passion for these issues.
The bimetallic I sent in exchange for some Beaver tokens he found for me.
Nice unique collection of a rare series.
Very nice additions

Nice collection and like that Bi metal one! Lakesammman is the man for sure! There all nice and the gold for sure!
I find it odd that he will marks these as "facsimile money" (facsimile being a synonym for copy), but he won't mark the others. What gives? Is there a special reason for it?
Beautiful collection ❤️❤️❤️ Love them !
Here's a better shot of the little bever on the top of the CPR Logo
If I’m interpreting your question correctly, They where made with the original dies and Dan Carr insisted they have some markings separating them as copy’s Now in the case of the mule it can’t be mistaken because it never existed before that point.

Dan didn't mark these as "facsimilie beaver money". That was on the original 1946 medal dies.
Dan counterstamped the non-mules with with "COPPER", "BRASS", and "SILVER" as seen in the photos above. The mules, a fantasy combination, were not counterstamped.
Here are @Lakesammman's photos of the original dies:
Zoins I apologize for not mentioning you in the thread if it wasn’t for you we wouldn’t have these wonderful mules I wish we could find the obverse to the die I will keep looking till I find it for you.

Thank you! Now I understand better.
No worries @jabba! I'm glad you are collecting these pieces and I've enjoyed watching you build your collection! It is a fun set. I'm on the look out for the obverse die and please let me know if you run across it! I have an original piece struck from my die and I'm on the look out for those as well
Can you post the photo of the coin from your original dies? I’ve been looking for one they are neat

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
