I'm going to suggest that you put aside that high-powered rig you are using for awhile. Get yourself a 5 -7X hand lens and learn the characteristics you'll see on coins. Today's collector has the internet and forums as this to help out.

I've been examining coins under high magnification for quite a while and I cannot see much of anything in your images. Try this. Get a small florescent lamp and take an image. That type of light will take all the glare out of your micrograph and we'll be better able to help you. Remember, the important marks on a coin are generally raised. You'll need to learn what die polish and breaks look like.

The ANA has a correspondence course on the minting process and errors.
