Coins in Japan

I'll be heading to Japan on January 30th and was wondering what numismatic-related opportunities there are (shops, museums) in Tokyo and Kyoto.
I also posted over in World Coins, but I'm a more frequent poster here.
Thanks in advance.
GSAs, OBW rolls, Seated, Walkers. Anything old and Colorado-focused, CO nationals.
Gonna get me a $50 Octagonal someday. Some. Day.

And to be clear, I'm looking for Japanese coins, but wondering if there is a market of any kind in U.S. coins there as well.

I have never been to Japan and haven't looked for Japanese coin shops. Concurrently, everywhere else I have looked indicates that there is limited to minimal collecting of US coinage above a relatively nominal price point. This observation is based on auction listings, a sample of on-line websites (coin dealer and otherwise) and eBay listings by non-US based sellers. I wouldn't expect hardly any participant on this forum to find anything in US coinage they really want in a Japanese coin shop.
@Stork
No, but I got a couple of my best Albanian coins from a Japanese coin auction
I put a couple suggestions for you on the World Coin forum thread.
There is a person who currently lives in Japan and lurks here (probably on a near daily basis) and hopefully he will chime in.
Good luck and have fun !!!
I lived in Japan for six years. This was before I got into collecting, unfortunately. It would be cool to find one of those experimental clay coins they struck during wwii that PCGS recently graded.
Just came back from Japan yesterday for a week. I was going to look for coins/coin shops but it was a hectic FUN adventure for the whole family instead. My only suggestion is to bundle up, unless you are use to east coast weather (I'm in sunny Cal so not use cold weather). Keeping this coin related, I was able to get an elongated coins from Disney Sea machine and Mt. Fuji area machine. By the way, I stayed in the Kanda Train station vicinity and financial district area. Thanks and have fun.
@Knell sounds like you had a great time! I too collect the odd elongated coins so thanks for the heads up! I'm from Colorado, so I'm used to the cool weather and prefer it over hot and humid.
I plan on the Currency Museum and at least one or two local coin shops. Not necessarily to buy anything but just curious to look.
