Massive eBay headache

I make a Best Offer. It's countered. I decline. However, for hours afterward, I keep getting a pop-up ad from the right side of my screen reminding me of the seller's counteroffer.

I have tried everything. They won't stop.

Any ideas on how to end this frustration?

I have the same problem but from the seller's side. I make the counter offer and continue to receive notices indicating I have an offer. It's the same one I countered earlier and am awaiting response. The notice goes away when the offer is rejected or they make another counter. It might have something to do with eBay waiting for the seller to take action on. Just a guess

The third category up from the bottom is Buying Alerts and what you're seeing may be able to be turned off there.
