1994 SCORE Baseball Series Two Box

BALROGBALROG Posts: 587 ✭✭✭

Where actually would this product have shown up back then, in local card stores ?? There was no Target and the mega Walmarts I don't think had card sections. Input requested on if anyone here ripped this SCORE Series 2 Baseball back in 1994.

Cards all stuck together now :). Salvaged a Molitor so far but most are toast. Doing my best at the pack bendage prior to rip.

love the dark borders...but dark borders make it really tough when cards stick together, of course...

I can't specifically recall buying 1994 Score, but my local Wal-Mart in my hometown with population less than 10,000 had a baseball card section since the late 80s, and I do absolutely recall buying 88, 89, and 90 Score at this store they used to call Kmart.

I remember buying a box of 94 score at the Philly Show back in the day. Also know Clover, Caldor, Toys "r" us, Kmart, etc all had card sections. Kmart in particular I remember always had boxes for sale by the register in the mid/late 90's.

I ripped a TON of this stuff from my LCS. I love the Gold Stars insert set and have on more than a few occasions thought about putting it together again in PSA 10. Sucks that they brick like that. So much for buying a bunch of boxes.

I had some boxes of 93 stadium club that were the same way. I wonder if that high gloss coating adds any special flavor for the BBQ......

I always loved the design of that set...I got both the regular and the Gold Rush sets. Now if I can just someday get the other insert sets (that Gold Stars one looks tough)

Breaks my heart seeing those Gold Rush cards with the surface damage. I hate you, global warming!
