I was a winner ...

I just got a notification that one of my registry sets received a lower ranking. No surprise.
Not being one who really chases registry sets, I clicked on the link and was surprised to learn that my set was the "2014 Certificate Award Winner." I didn't have a clue. I recall creating the set just for fun, but didn't follow up on the registry rankings.
The set is the 'Everyman Twenty Cents' which consists of a whopping 4 coins, which are readily available at most major coin shows. So, putting together a top set is no real challenge.

LOL ... it gave me a chuckle. There are some very serious registry set collectors out there that have spectacular sets and they have agonized over finding the right coins. Kudos to them! It's just not my collecting passion.

Well, I have no registry sets, so you are a winner in my eyes.

There is a 3 year statute of limitation to claim certificates on registry sets. You are still a loser

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
Laughed so hard I just about soiled myself!
