HK-223/Eglit-90.

The Saint Gaudens/Barber combination medal from the Columbian Exposition of 1892-3 is one I have been casually chasing for a number of years, I just haven't found a medal with the combination of quality and price that I can accept. I don't know if that makes me cheap, picky or both, but the fact remains that I still don't own one. Recently I have been considering a purchase of a larger version of the same medal since it comes in a variety of sizes.
This morning I was searching and came across a past article in Coin World that had a picture of the original die block that was used to strike the SC$ size. How cool is that!!??!! What a sweet piece of history. Post a picture of a medal if you own one and make sure to tell us what the size is.

Here are a few. Sorry, don't have these in hand at the moment so I don't know the sizes -- they're all medals though!

The Saint Gaudens die was sold in 2006 by Heritage at the link below. I ran across it years ago but after the auction. It’s one of those pieces I still look for. The only issue with the die is that his name has been scratched off which I think is odd and unfortunate. Of course, that wouldn’t stop me from bidding aggressively!
