_I think in Laura's case dreck can be a 500,000 or 1.5 million coin. I bet you a nickel she loves inexpensive coins that are properly graded, good looking, and cool. But that is not her thing. _
load me up on really nice inexpensive GEM coins. I don't do more modern stuff tho.

Didn't Legend purchase a 1992 transitional close AM Lincoln cent a year or two ago for moon money?
I am a dreck ,,,,,,,, with no cent worths to my opinion but I will not bite my tongue any longer on this scenario.
Laura's unpolished opinion ....... is undeniably blunt and honest which probably beyond our realm 'cause it came from a different league.
Be kind of the opposing opinion despite the mixed feeling of envy and a degree of resentment if any.
We too ...... do brag about ours in our own right don't we?
RYK - a bit aggressive and defensive there I would say (Shakespeare would love it). Well, to respond, I am not going to stoop to quoting or going back to the numerous derisive references made by said parties regarding "lesser coins" being dreck (and not just the ex post facto cleaned up version we have now been presented with).
I certainly could, but will not challenge you in reverse & if you don't agree that is fine. I think you have missed out on the thrust of their references or perhaps are somewhat shrouded.
However, I do like the new (or revisited if you like) version of "dreck" being a bit more friendly. Still IMO an unkind term however.
Love that Milled British (1830-1960) Well, just Love coins, period.
Honestly I really don't care. Just turned off by the use of the term which is defined as "TRASH, RUBBISH". Thanks for clarifying that it doesn't mean trash or rubbish among collectors.

I missed it, again. Bought another five figures worth of dreck in the shop. Love the drama Laura brings out in us all, though.
