Take a shot- What's the grade going to be? 1878 8TF

My Morgan VAM collection puts my other sets to shame. I have these coins raw and intend to send this one in to test the PCGS system. I "KNOW" what grade I think it is. This coin has never been slabbed.

How about looking at the picture and taking a shot. It is a full DMPL, although you might not be able to tell in the crappy picture. By the way, that is my finger reflection over the top right field.

Thanks for your input. I value this board's opinion.

67 - DC PL although from a fuzzy picture , it is only a part educated guess and part hallucination at this late hour.

where is the other side of the coin and how can a grade be guessed without it?
  • 64 DMPL. That is taking your word it meets the DMPL standard.

Where is Dragon? I haven't seen him for quite a while and having no techincal skills of my own for Morgans, I have always thought he was right on target.

Dragon, if you are out there somewhere... come back.

Okay, okay. I can't take a picture worth a darn. I'm a coin collector -- not a photographer. I'll try a different technique tonight and put the reverse on. I have had 64 on it for a long time, but after looking at some of the 65's graded by PCGS, I think it will go 65 if I send it in. That's the reason I was playing this little game. I'm going to send it in tomorrow after I take some better pictures, and I'll be sure to post the results.
