over on MLB.com they are asking who the greatest free agent peoples favorite team ever signed. I would tweek this just a bit and ask, who is the greatest free agent signing in baseball history.
Many to choose from:
Reggie, Randy Johnson, Nolan Ryan, Greg Maddux, Barry Bonds....
for me, I would lean towards Maddux.
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

Bonds....that's a joke!! I wouldn't take him if you paid me!! All those others were GREAT. I loved watching Reggie Jackson hitting homers.
My vote for Boston is David Ortiz.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
football...reggie white
Sox got good value on the Manny signing as well. Well, except for the last year or so.
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
For Detroit, the greatest would be Ivan Rodriguez. Getting him to sign revitalized the franchise, led to Magglio Ordonez signing, a trip to the 2006 World Series, the eventual trade for Miguel Cabrera, and a lot more success than what had come before.
Ditto on Jackson.
