Is a 1982 small date penny worth anything??

    The coin in the OP is not at the higher end of the grade scale.

    Condition is an issue with this coin even without seeing the rev. Our host provides grading values and known population info to be aware of. Peace Roy

    But I also am looking at that 1982 right. Just making sure that is a small date?

    The curve going to the base of the 2 would indicate a small date.

    Cool Thanks I was right. That is a small date copper plated zinc. But you all help. It’s a lot to learn all the variety types.
