Can someone tell me what is the difference between the regular version and the foil version for the young guns rc's??
I have a 2015 Young guns #206 Mikko Rantanen and I also see on ebay the PSA label saying Foil
Foil version
It is also separate on the pop report foil being much rarer.
reg Version
Someone mentioned it was a trade in ???
How did they come? packs? and are they much scarcer than the regulat version

Foil are an epack exclusive made by combining 5 regular YGs.
They were redeemed 5YG to 1YG Foil through e-packs online by Upper Deck.
Has sort of died off , as for example, 5 Connor McDavid YG's are worth more than one McDavid YG Foil. Worth it for anyone not redeeming them

I don't open new boxes/packs So I take it that these packs are bought and kept on the computer.
To get a physical card you need to pay upper deck and they send you the card.
All things equal are foil cards worth 5X more than base??

I love pre 1970 hockey cards. This new stuff I am going to have to learn and get used to

typically, no, they're not worth 5x
