    Posted here, pointing out fakes. BST trying to pass fakes, but BST customers are more sophisticated than the average eBay buyer so that is not the best idea. Edit to say some posts here may stem from ignorance, perhaps BST as well.

    I agree that some of these folks likely know more than they let on and are simply testing the waters, but I would not think all of them fall into that category.

    I think they fall into two categories:

    1. Newbies who have gotten taken by scammers and don't know enough about what they have bought to realize they were taken.

    2. Professional scammers who are looking for new marks and see this forum as having enough potential to play their game. They are not looking to score on the old hands on the board but see enough potential targets to make a brief try before quickly disappearing and then reappearing with a new identity.

    All glory is fleeting.
