I am primarily a coin guy. I feel nostalgic finding these three cards.

I didn't hang on to the collection of my youth. Except for these three cards, apparently, because I just stumbled upon them. I didnt know I had them.
I know they aren't of value, but I wanted to share because seeing them brought me back to a different time.

That’s what it’s all about.
I agree, that's what it's all about. Found a 1986 Fleer Update set over the weekend for $2. Figured it wasn't complete, and it wasn't. After purchasing, it was missing the Bonds card which is interesting because the Canseco, Clark, Joyner cards, which were the hot cards early on were all there. But, the trip down memory lane was awesome. Best $2 I spent in quite a while.

That is entirely the reason I collect. When I open up those binders or look through my slabs, I am instantly 12 years old again. "Worth" is well down on my list. I am glad you found those treasures
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
That's great! I have a few cards like that as well that I will probably never get rid of. One is a '77 Dawson RC (my favorite player) that my mom got for me off of QVC back in the day. The other two are a '67 Morgan and '64 LL card with Aaron. Got those two when I was 10 at a garage sale with my own money and I'm still in shock how I never ruined them over the years lol. Non of them are NM, maybe EX at best, but it's the memories behind them.
I never know why I save some of the things I do.
Koufax fan? Any reason the cards go back so far? Dodgers fan?
I have a bunch of Brooklyn stuff for the connection.
Thanx for sharing.
I grew up a Red Sox fan in Massachusetts. I remember picking up those two cards in a LCS as a kid in the 1980s. I cannot remember what I paid but I must have just liked the look of them.
My favorite player was Jim Rice. If I ever do dive into some purchases, I would like to start with some of his cards.
Proof that you don't need a 52 Mantle to have fun in the hobby.
Of course owning a 52 Mantle certainly makes it more fun.
Can't put a price on fond memories.
