Wish PSA Had a Slab-Crack Service

Something I've been thinking about lately. I do wish PSA had a service where you could send in your PSA slabs intact and they can crack them + enter them into the (re)grading process, as opposed to a review attempt. But I hate doing the cracking and particularly handling raw cards of value. I'd pay a bit extra per card to just mail them in.

The problem (at least the big one that comes to mind), would be liability.

Just a thought, and perhaps it's a stupid one.

Mail them to me. I'll crack them for $5 a card.

I don't think PSA would do that since it's sort of implying that you'd have a better shot at an upgrade if they cracked it rather than review. Theoretically it should be the exact same judgment.

Wouldn't be a bad idea if PSA offered that service for crossover grading so that they get cards out of BGS, SGC, GAI and even the buy a Get Mint 10 grading companies holders.

They do have it for crossovers... All you do it submit with a minimum grade of 'authentic', and they crack it out as soon as they determine it's a real card... then they grade it.

Hopefully nobody has seen the thread where you crack the 85 Topps football out of their slabs.
