Fake Atocha 8 Reales?

I noticed today while browsing on eBay. The seller is has this posted as an Atocha recovery but without certification. I think its a fake. Checking the Mel Fisher database, there is no such coin associated with the TSI #. Agree that it is a fake?

I would contact the MF museum and run that TSI number thru them before you bid anything. Doesn't make sense that the COA was separated from the item for any reason. Provenance is the money shot! Peace Roy

Yes it is. I'm not bidding, just wanted to get an opinion before I report it as a fake

Looks OK to me. The earliest stuff from the Atocha usually didn't have a certificate, just the ticket you see in the flip.

The number 230780 when searched at https://www.melfisherartifacts.com/ returns the correct attributes for the coin in the photo. No original photo available unfortunately.
